years of the festival and of the area around Llangollen, they may take a few

The Eisteddfod attracts competitors from all over the
world, who take part in various competitions, concerts and outdoor
performances over the course of six days. Around 2400 performers participate
during the week, making the Eisteddfod one of the largest festivals of its
kind in the world.
